Summary

This study explored the textbook development experiences of three middle school physical education teachers through narrative research. The teachers attempted to develop a Korean-style textbook to overcome mannerism and quench their thirst for new physical education classes, experiencing both difficulties and rewards in the process. Their experiences encompass the meanings of textbook development as prosumerism, imitation and creation, and knowledge creation through a learning community.
