Summary

This study qualitatively analyzed the vocational education experiences of the female baby-boom generation, revealing a process of self-discovery and identity recovery in the course of education aimed at re-employment. Specifically, through job club activities, they formed a new identity as a social participant, moving beyond their existing identities as wives, mothers, and housewives, and reconstructed the meaning of life through transformative learning experiences.
