This study investigated the mediating effect of career engagement on the relationship between calling and life satisfaction among volunteer managers. The results showed that calling positively influences life satisfaction, and career engagement mediates the positive relationship between calling and life satisfaction. Specifically, the meaning and value of work were found to influence life satisfaction through career engagement.
