Summary

This study investigated the effects of self-directed learning-based simulation education on nursing students' learning attitude and self-directed learning ability. The results showed that the experimental group demonstrated significant improvements in learning attitude and self-directed learning ability compared to the control group, but no significant difference in problem-solving ability. Based on these findings, self-directed learning-based simulation education can be utilized as an effective teaching-learning strategy.
