Summary

This study empirically analyzed the effect of credit union member participation on trust in the union, mediated by responsibility. The results showed that member participation promotes the union’s responsibility, which in turn increases trust in the union. Specifically, participation strengthens the union’s legal, economic, ethical, and discretionary responsibility, and these responsibility components contribute to increased trust.
