Summary
This study comparatively analyzed the factors influencing civic morality in Korea, China, and Japan. The results showed that Japan had the highest level of civic morality, while China had the lowest, and there were differences in the influence of institutional or cultural factors on civic morality in each country. The study suggests the need to improve civic morality in Korean society by eradicating government corruption, enhancing government performance, and creating a moral climate.
