Summary

This study empirically analyzed the effect of customer orientation in insurance salespersons on perceived referral risk and referral intention, and examined the moderating role of customer tendencies. Customer-oriented selling activities were found to reduce perceived referral risk and increase referral intention, with effects varying based on innovative, risk-taking, and interpersonal tendencies.
