Summary

This study investigated the awareness and nutritional management of food allergy by faculty members in child care centers. The results showed that many centers inquired about children’s allergic diseases and provided food restrictions, but there were issues such as a lack of allergy training and insufficient supply of substitute foods. Therefore, education on food allergies and support such as allergen-free menus and emergency care guidelines are needed for faculty members in child care centers.
