Summary

This study investigated the influences of mathematical attitude, pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) in mathematics, and constructivist belief on early childhood teachers’ mathematics teaching efficacy. The results showed that mathematical attitude had the largest impact, and PCK in mathematics partially mediated the relationship between constructivist belief and mathematics teaching efficacy. These findings can contribute to developing strategies for improving early childhood teachers’ mathematics teaching efficacy.
