This study analyzes the characteristics of citizen participatory politics and explores the direction of good governance to strengthen representative democracy, using the 2016-2017 candlelight vigil as a case study. Through analysis of candlelight vigil participants and political reform issues, the study suggests the characteristics of citizen participation and the direction of political system reform, aiming to contribute to the innovation of democratic quality through the harmony of party-centered and participation-centered approaches.
