Summary

This study conducted a cross-cultural survey in Korea and the United States to investigate the effect of cultural dimensions on ethical consumption motives. The results provide strategic implications for promoting ethical consumption by considering the cultural characteristics of a market, and suggest specific marketing solutions in the context of ethical consumption in Korea and the United States.
