This study introduces a cultural literacy class using phototelling and analyzes the experiences of Korean language learners to suggest ways to improve cultural literacy. Learners enhanced their understanding of Korean culture, such as Hanbok, Hanok Village, and Chosun history, through phototelling in a culture class at Jeonju Hanok Village. The study suggests the need to systematically utilize culture classes to improve the cultural literacy of Korean language learners.
