This study aimed to reveal the implications of kidult culture in terms of early childhood education by examining its flow and current state, and attempting to re-conceptualize the term. Kidult culture emphasizes the emotions and power of play for adults, re-emphasizing the importance of play in early childhood and suggesting attention to adult play within a lifespan development context. This will enable an expansion of the scope of play in early childhood education research and allow for a multifaceted approach.
