Summary

This study explores the process of a middle-aged physical education teacher K’s forming his teaching professionalism, his selection and practice of class content, and the subsequent educational meaning throughout his career. Through in-depth interviews and participatory observation, the analysis revealed that Teacher K formed and practiced his teaching professionalism through four stages: initial, developmental, responsible, and career stages.
