This study examined the influence of handball coaches’ leadership styles on players’ self-management and team cohesion. The results indicated that leadership styles such as training and instruction, positive rewarding, democratic behavior, and social support positively impacted players’ self-management skills and team cohesion. This suggests that positive leadership from coaches plays a significant role in improving the athletic performance of student athletes.
