Summary

This study systematically reviewed and meta-analyzed factors influencing the retention of hospital nurses in Korea. The results revealed that more than 6 years of career experience was a key factor positively affecting intention to stay, and extrinsic factors such as job content, organizational factors, and work environment, as well as intrinsic factors like attitude toward nursing and psychological resources, were also found to influence retention.
