Summary

This study investigated the changes in marker compound content and anti-inflammatory effect of Gamisoyo-san decoction (GMSYS) depending on storage temperature and periods. GMSYS was stored at room temperature or refrigeration for 12 months, and the contents of gallic acid and mangiferin decreased with increasing storage periods. GMSYS inhibited the production of LPS-induced inflammatory mediators and cytokines in RAW 264.7 cells, maintaining its effect up to 3 months, but decreasing after 4 months.
