Summary
This study derived an equation to estimate systolic blood pressure (SBP) using the systolic time of the radial artery wave measured by a wrist wearable pulsimeter equipped with a magnetic Hall device. A linear correlation between systolic time and blood pressure was confirmed in individuals with normal blood pressure and in cases where blood pressure was artificially elevated through exercise. The results suggest the possibility of developing a personalized health care pulsimeter and blood pressure monitor.
