Summary
This study empirically demonstrated the relationship between electronic government and trust in government in the South Korean context, and identified the mediating effect of “promoting a positive awareness of government operations” as a logical structure for the introduction of electronic government. The study particularly emphasized the importance of trust in local government and found that satisfaction with electronic government service use positively influenced trust in government through satisfaction with government operation.
