Summary

This study investigated the trends of early childhood teacher education research in Korea from 2000 to 2017 using frequency analysis and semantic network analysis. The results showed a quantitative increase in research related to early childhood teacher education, with keywords such as ‘program’, ‘development’, and ‘training’ being prominent. The research subjects were gradually expanded from kindergarten teachers to childcare teachers.
