This study analyzed the factors affecting specific fear of crime in adolescents using latent class analysis. The results classified adolescents into four groups: ‘fearless group’, ‘property/violent fear of crime group’, ‘harassment fear of crime group’, and ‘overall fear of crime group’. Factors such as crime victimization, incivility, social relationships, gender, and household income were found to influence fear of crime, with overall fear of crime also related to parental attachment and social relationship satisfaction.
