Summary

This study proposes a methodology for intelligent and responsive window opening-closing operation process to reduce CO2 concentration in classrooms and create an effective learning environment for adolescents. The study defined the concept of window operation, developed the operation process and a real-time algorithm, and verified the process through parametric design examples. Simulation results showed window operation based on CO2 concentration, but highlighted the need for further algorithm development due to limitations in winter conditions caused by indoor-outdoor temperature differences.
