Summary

This study analyzed the physical activity, physical fitness, and metabolic disease risk factors of overweight children and adolescents, revealing that male students had higher obesity, blood pressure, and liver enzyme levels than female students, and those at risk of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease had a significantly higher risk of metabolic syndrome. These findings suggest that managing obesity in children and adolescents is essential for reducing the risk of metabolic syndrome.
