Summary

This study examined trends in domestic intervention studies aimed at improving learning motivation of students with underachievement and evaluated their potential for evidence-based practice through qualitative analysis. Analysis of 52 studies revealed a steady increase in intervention research since 1994, with most studies targeting elementary school students. Group counseling, improvement of learning skills, and the ARCS model were commonly used, while information on intervention fidelity and the comparison group was found to be insufficient.
