Summary

This study aimed to examine symptom experiences, perceived health status, disease status, and self-care compliance of patients with liver cirrhosis and to identify factors affecting their self-care compliance. The results showed that symptom experiences, disease status, age, and gender influenced self-care compliance, explaining 21.6% of the variance.
