Summary

This study investigated the effects of disaster safety awareness and safety culture among employees of elderly welfare facilities on the safety of the facilities. The results showed that safety culture significantly affected the safety of the facilities, while disaster safety awareness did not. This suggests that establishing an organizational safety culture is more important than improving individual awareness to enhance the safety of elderly welfare facilities.
