This study aims to derive the characteristics of overlapping styles by analyzing contemporary fashion designs utilizing overlapping techniques and relevant previous studies. The results identified transparency, duplicity, repetition, and collectivity as characteristics of overlapping styles, and four knit fashion designs within a rectangle were developed based on these characteristics.
