Summary
This study investigated the effects of the healthcare accreditation system on patient safety, quality of medical care, organizational culture, and management performance in nursing homes by surveying 253 staff members in Daegu. The results showed positive changes in all areas, particularly in treatment support systems and human resource culture. However, hierarchical culture, production-oriented culture, and the financial aspect of management performance showed relatively low changes.
