Summary

This study analyzed the influence of learners' stereotypes about France on their learning motivation and intention to continue learning. The survey results showed that learners had a positive perception of France, with positive stereotypes influencing integrative motivation and negative stereotypes influencing instrumental motivation. Furthermore, fixed ideas about France did not significantly affect learning persistence, but learning motivation was positively correlated with learning persistence.
