Summary

This study investigated the relationships between self-regulation learning ability (cognitive, motivational, and behavioral regulation) and academic achievement/social learning satisfaction in collaborative learning through social media, and explored the mediating and moderating effects of co-regulation and collaborative efficacy. The results showed that collaborative efficacy had a positive indirect effect on offsetting the negative relationship between cognitive and motivational regulation and learning satisfaction, while high levels of co-regulation negatively impacted the positive relationship between behavioral regulation and academic achievement.
