Summary

This study analyzed the 2015 revised Home Economics achievement standards based on Bloom's Revised Taxonomy to identify the knowledge and competencies required in the Fourth Industrial Revolution era. The results showed that metacognitive knowledge was higher in middle school and factual knowledge in high school in the knowledge dimension, while differences were observed in the cognitive process dimension depending on the subject and key concepts. The analysis of verbs used in the achievement standards suggests the need for strategies to provide effective cognitive processes for learners' performance acquisition and refine the connection between content elements and functions.
