Summary

This study conducted a meta-analysis to examine the effect of Practical Reasoning Instruction (PRI) on student achievement in Home Economics classes. The analysis revealed that PRI had a positive impact on student achievement compared to traditional instruction, with an effect size of 0.60. Furthermore, the effect size varied depending on the content area and school location.
