Summary

This study examined the influence of social support and teachers’ efficacy on pre-service early childhood teachers’ views of the teaching profession, and differences based on practicum experience. The analysis revealed that social support influences views of the teaching profession through teachers’ efficacy, and pre-service teachers with practicum experience showed a stronger effect of teaching efficacy on their views of the profession.
