Summary
This study indirectly investigated the impact of media reports on discriminatory behavior toward people with mental disorders by surveying 217 general adults and mental health professionals. The results showed that general adults exhibited more stigma and discriminatory behavior toward mental disorders than mental health professionals, and recovery knowledge and social life restriction were factors influencing discriminatory behavior.
