Summary
This study investigated the effects of mother’s parenting efficacy, parenting stress, daily stress, and happiness on infant’s daily stress. The results showed a negative correlation between parenting efficacy and happiness and infant stress, and a positive correlation between parenting stress and mother’s stress. Based on these findings, the study suggests establishing parenting support networks, parent education, and co-parenting to reduce infant stress.
