Summary

This study examined Korean research trends in children’s school readiness during their elementary school transition by analyzing 40 academic journals published between 2000 and 2017. The results showed an increase in research after 2010, peaking in 2017, with quantitative studies (particularly surveys) focusing on children and their families. While studies commonly explored relationships between school readiness variables, research on program development and cognitive development was limited.
