Summary

This study explored the PCK of novice high school science teachers and analyzed its manifestation in actual classroom practice to contribute to teacher expertise. The results indicated that teachers’ PCK is influenced by personal tendencies, teaching experience, and school atmosphere, with variations in PCK manifestation among teachers. Therefore, teacher training, classroom autonomy, and a comfortable school atmosphere are necessary.
