Summary

This study explores the theoretical and practical implications of ritual theory, which has developed academically, in the discourse of adult education. Rituals provide a meaningful theoretical basis for explaining various aspects of adult education such as informal learning, transformative learning, intergenerational learning, and workplace learning, and play an important role in the differences between generations as ritual communities and the formation of workplace culture.
