Summary

This study examined the impact of romance of leadership on followership (independent critical thinking, active engagement) and the effect of followership on job commitment and job satisfaction, considering the moderating effect of organizational identification. The results showed that romance of leadership enhances followership, and active engagement of followers positively influences job commitment and job satisfaction. Furthermore, organizational identification was found to moderate the relationship between romance of leadership and followers’ independent critical thinking.
