This study focused on the SDGs framework as a tool for sustainable development in Gyeongsangnam-do, aiming to transform local government goal systems into the SDGs framework to promote collaborative governance. SDGs and sustainable development indicators for Gyeongsangnam-do, derived through surveys and town hall meetings, are linked to UN SDGs and the national master plan. Gyeongsangnam-do should utilize these SDGs in its performance management system and apply them to cooperation with lower-level local governments.
