Summary

This study explores the emotional geography in the relationship between beginning physical education teachers and students to contribute to successful teaching and learning and effective teacher-student relationships. The results indicate that beginning physical education teachers experience various distances based on student characteristics, discrepancies in educational goals, class participation, student guidance, and inappropriate behavior. It suggests the importance of forming intimacy through positive interactions and understanding.
