Summary
This study aimed to construct a model of cultural competence in nursing students and found that multicultural experience, emotional intelligence, critical thinking disposition, intercultural anxiety, communication skills, and self-efficacy significantly influenced cultural competence. Communication skills and self-efficacy directly impacted cultural competence, while multicultural experience had both direct and indirect associations.
