Summary

This study aims to analyze the dynamic characteristics of a spool type pressure relief valve to improve the stability of hydraulic systems. The problem of high-frequency oscillations is addressed by introducing orifices within the valve, and transfer function-based analysis is performed using Matlab. The analysis results are validated with experimental results, and parameters affecting valve design stability are suggested.
