Summary

This study investigated the effects of LEDs and duty ratio on the growth and physiological responses of the endangered plant Silene capitata Kom. in a plant factory. Results showed that lower duty ratios led to longer leaf length and width under red+blue mixed light. Notably, the 70% duty ratio under red+blue+white mixed light exhibited higher photosynthetic rate, water use efficiency, chlorophyll content, and Fv/Fm values, suggesting it could reduce environmental stress and save energy when cultivating Silene capitata.
