Summary

This study investigated the antibiotic resistance of Enterococcus species isolated from retail fresh-cut produce in Korea. The results showed that most isolates were resistant to quinupristin/dalfopristin, and exhibited intermediate resistance to ciprofloxacin and erythromycin. Vancomycin resistance was not detected, and these findings provide useful information for risk analysis of antibiotic resistance in food safety and public health.
