Summary

Korea officially became an aged society in 2017, and a shift in perception of the elderly from objects of protection to active participants in society has occurred due to declining birth rates and population aging. This study emphasizes the understanding of ageism and the importance of age integration in an aging society, and suggests that the church needs to transition to become more age-friendly. However, concrete action plans for an age-integrated church should be supplemented through follow-up research.
