Summary

This study analyzes the changing aspects of storytelling as the novel 「Bom·Bom」 becomes OSMU to film and drama. The novel, film, and drama acquire new narratives and meanings by borrowing core events according to the characteristics of each medium and genre, and storytelling strategies differ depending on the times and socio-cultural context. Differences are observed in aspects such as the characterization of female characters, the expression of conflict, and the use of imaging technology.
