This study aims to identify the discourse and pragmatic functions of Korean adnominal clauses through the analysis of editorial articles and to provide basic data for the generative use of adnominal clauses in Korean language education. As a result of analyzing 15 editorial articles, adnominal clauses were found to perform a total of 12 functions in terms of reference, context, and text construction. This suggests the need for education based on actual language use, moving away from the existing education focused on preventing morphological errors.
