Summary

This study investigated the effectiveness of a climate change education program developed for 2nd grade elementary school students. The results showed that the program led to cognitive, behavioral, and emotional changes in students’ environmental concepts and had a positive impact on their understanding of climate change. Activity-based education was particularly effective in promoting student understanding.
