Summary
This study analyzed the impact of repeat college entrance examination experience on the academic achievement of college students using data from the Korean Education Longitudinal Study. Students with repeat experience showed lower academic achievement compared to those without, but the difference was not significant when controlling for individual and university background factors and university life experiences. Support for improving the adaptation to university life and class attitude of students with repeat experience, and encouraging job preparation activities is needed.
